BW Men's Soccer Drops OAC Decision To Capital
COLUMBUS, Ohio --- The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team dropped an 1-0 Ohio Athletic Conference decision to Capital University, at Bernlohr Stadium.

With its win, the Crusaders are now 7-6-3 overall and 4-3 in the OAC. With its loss, the Yellow Jackets are 6-9-4 overall and 4-3 in the OAC.

Capital scored the game's lone goal in the 17th minute when freshman Jacob Puliam scored on a penalty kick goal that gave Capital a 1-0 lead.

In goal for BW, senior Tyler Beaton (Bemus Point, N.Y./ Maple Grove) faced 15 shots,  allowed 1 goals and made 4 saves as his record dropped to 6-8-2 this season.

The Crusaders outshot the Jackets by a 15-10 count and won the cornerkick battle, 7-3.

The BW men are back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 29 when the Yellow Jackets host the University of Mount Union in on Tressel Field in The George Finnie Stadium at 7 pm. BW ends its regular season next Saturday, Nov. 2 when it hosts OAC-rival Marietta College in a women's and men's doubleheader on Seniors' & Parents' Day. The women kickoff at 1 pm and the men at 3:30 pm.
