GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team fell to Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 1-0 in overtime in the second game of a men's and women's doubleheader at College Field.
Grove City scored the games only goal when Seth Loew netted a penalty kick in the 98th minute.
In goal senior Tyler Beaton (Bemus Point, N.Y./Maple Grove) faced 14 shots, including seven on-goal, allowed one goal and made six saves and is now 2-2-2 overall.
Baldwin Wallace outshot Grove City by an 22-14 count but the corner kicks were tied at 5-5.
BW hosts Allegheny (Pa.) College in a non-conference game on Tuesday, September 17 at Tressel Field at 7 p.m.
