BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University football team under the direction of fifth-year head coach Jim Hilvert opens the 2022 season with three straight road games for the second consecutive year.

The 2002 season features four home games and six road contests. Game times have not been announced at this time. 

Hilvert and the Yellow Jackets kickoff the campaign against a first-time opponent when they travel to Cincinnati on September 3 to take on Mount Saint Joseph University for their lone non-conference game.  BW begins Ohio Athletic Conference action on September 11 when it travels to Wilmington for its second road contest against Wilmington College.  The Yellow Jackets close out the three-game opening road trip when it travels to University Heights for an OAC and 34th Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Trophy game against crosstown rival John Carroll University.

BW opens the home portion of its schedule when it welcomes Ohio Northern University to the George Finnie Stadium for a Parents and Family and 44th Lee Tressel Shrine Classic game on September 24.

The month of October opens with an OAC road contest against Marietta College on October 1.  After a bye week, the Yellow Jackets hosts back-to-back home against Muskingum University on October 15 and Otterbein University on October 22.   The Muskingum game will be the annual Hall of Fame game with the Otterbein game serving as Community and Family Day and Homecoming.  October closes with a trip to Capital University on October 29.

The final month of the regular season opens with the final road contest of the season on November 5 against Heidelberg University.  BW closes out the 2022 campaign when it hosts the University of Mount Union on November 12.
