Football Announces Incoming Class as Preseason Camp Opens

BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert is pleased to announce that 61 student-athletes have selected BW to continue their football careers.

Coach Hilvert, who is in sixth season and was the 2021 Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Coach of the Year, returns 54 letterwinners, three All-OAC players and three Academic All-OAC selections from last year's squad that tied for second in the OAC with an overall record of 8-2 and a 7-2 mark in the league.

BW opens the 2022 campaign on September 3 when it travels to Cincinnati for its lone non-conference game against Mount St. Joseph University.  The OAC opener is on September 10 when the Yellow Jackets travel to Wilmington to take on Wilmington College.  The home opener is on September 24 when the team hosts an OAC game against Ohio Northern University.
