MARIETTA, Ohio – Junior quarterback Joey Marousek (North Royalton) threw two late fourth quarter touchdowns to lead the Baldwin Wallace University football team to a thrilling 33-29 victory over Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference game inside Don Drumm Stadium.

BW (3-2, 3-1 OAC) improved to 38-7 in the all-time series with Marietta (2-2, 1-2 OAC), including winning 15 of the last 17 meetings.  

Offensively for the Yellow Jackets, Marousek completed 18-of-33 passes for 240 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.   Senior All-OAC running back Jon Murray, Jr. (Cincinnati/Withrow) rushed for 93 yards on 86 carries.  Senior wide receiver Darius Stokes (Canton/GlenOak) caught eight passes for 84 yards with one touchdown.  Defensively, senior linebacker Mason Levasseur (Panama City, Fla./South Walton) recorded a game-high 11 tackles.

Offensively for the Pioneers, junior quarterback Connor Vierstra completed 17-of-26 passes for 249 yards with four touchdowns.  Senior All-OAC running back Bryce Agnew rushed for 103 yards on 28 carries.  Sophomore wide out Dawson Snyder caught nine passes for 210 yards with two touchdowns. Defensively, senior All-American linebacker Drake Neuberger and freshman Brady McManaway tallied 10 stops.
