BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis junior student-athletes Caitlyn Pecinovsky (Whitehall/Columbus Bishop Hartley) and Katy Marshall (Medina/Senior) have been named to the 2009-10 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference At-Large team.

Pecinovsky makes her first appearance on the at-large team and Marshall is a repeat selection. The at-large category consists of student-athletes from the sports of golf, swimming and diving, and tennis.

Pecinovsky is a psychology and criminal justice double-major with a 3.63 grade point average. She is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Chi Sigma Alpha, Pi Gamma Mu, Psi Chi and Dayton C. Miller honor societies.

Pecinovsky also earned her second straight first-team All-OAC honor earlier this week for her play on the court in 2009-10. She posted a 15-10 overall record competing strictly at the No. 1 position and was 8-1 during OAC play. In three seasons, Pecinovsky posts an overall singles record of 49-32 and a doubles mark of 50-38.

Marshall is a psychology and Spanish double-major with a 3.8 GPA. She is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Chi Sigma Alpha and Psi Chi honor societies. She was an academic at-large selection last year and was an honorable-mention pick in 2007-08.

Marshall tied for the team lead with 18 wins (18-7 overall) competing mainly at No. 6. She was undefeated in OAC play at 8-0 and was named OAC Player of the Week on March 29. In three seasons, Marshall has a career singles record of 36-22 and a doubles mark of 48-38.

The Yellow Jackets finished the season at 18-8 overall and won both the OAC regular season and tournament championships. The Yellow Jackets made their third trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament and have won three of the last four OAC titles.

In the last four years, BW has an outstanding record of 74-29.
