BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Graham Montague competed in his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete earned his third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Graham carries a 3.74 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC HONORS:  As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, Graham earned Academic All-OAC honors.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Graham competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He was the starter at 149 pounds. Graham had a 22-19 overall record and with 11 pins. He totaled 32 takedowns, 44 escapes, nine reversals and 13 total near falls. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Graham competed in his second season of wrestling and earned his second varsity letter. He earned Academic All-OAC honors. Overall Graham had a record of 18-14 with 11 pins, 31 takedowns, 21 escapes, six reversals, and eight total near falls. BW set a single-season school-record with 17 wins, a 17-6 record, including a 4-1 mark in the OAC, won the John Summa Memorial Tournament title, placed sixth at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional and 20th at the 2015 NCAA Div. III National Championship Tournament.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Graham competed in his third season of wrestling and earned his third varsity letter. He split time at 157 pounds and started a number of matches. He was an Academic All-OAC selection for the second straight season. Graham compiled a 19-15 record with 11 pins to rank second on the team. He also had 42 takedowns, 41 escapes, six reversals and 26 total near falls. BW compiled a school-record 18 victories with an 18-8 overall record, won the OAC title with a perfect 5-0 record and placed an all-time best second at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional Tournament. BW also was 31st of 53 teams at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Graham grew up in Independence, Ohio and graduated from Independence High School in the spring of 2013.

Graham competed in wrestling for four years and earned four varsity letters and he competed in track and field.

In wrestling, Graham was an OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) State Tournament qualifier and owns four Independence H.S. records: most wins in a season (45) and career (143) and most pins in a season (35) and career (119).

Academically, Graham was an Honor Roll student, a member of the National Honor Society and was named Academic All-Ohio by the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association.
