BEREA, Ohio -- Five members of the Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.
Senior Ben LeBrun (Strongsville), junior Graham Montague (Independence) and sophomores Tyler Maclellan (Medina/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy), James Ritchie (Carlisle) and Andrew Sierawski (Delaware/Hayes) are five of the 17 BW winter sports student-athletes named as Academic All-OAC.
In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cummulative grade point average,be in residence at the school for at least a year and maintain varsity status.
LeBrun, a four-year letterwinner, earns his third Academic All-OAC honor. He is an international studies major.
Montague, a three-year letterwinner, earns second third Academic All-OAC honor. He is a biology major.
Maclellan, a two-year letterwinner, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor. He is an accounting major. Maclellan is also a two-time All-OAC first-team selection, a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American and a 2016 NCAA Division III National Tournament qualifier.
Ritchie, a two-year letterwinner, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor. He is criminal justice major.
Sierawski, a two-year letterwinner, earns his second Academic All-OAC honor after earning his first honor in the fall as a member of the BW football team. He is a mathematics major. Sierawski earned his first varsity letter for football in the fall.
