ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Mathematics and Education

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Andrew Sierawski played his second season of football and competed in his second season of wresting at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The 2016 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection earned his second varsity letter in each sport.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Andrew carries a 3.651 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC: As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Andrew was named Academic All-OAC in both football and wrestling.

NWCA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN:  As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Andrew was named as a NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Scholar All-American.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Andrew competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He split time with two other wrestlers in the 285-pound weight class. He had a 15-9 record with eight falls. Andrew had 15 takedowns, 13 escapes, one reversal and two near falls. BW finished with a school-record 17 victories, a 17-5 record, placed sixth at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional and 20th at the Div. III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Andrew competed in his second season of wrestling and earned his second letter. He battled all season with senior All-OAC 285-pounder Joe Belford '16 for the starting role and mat time. Andrew compiled a 16-6 record with four pins, 15 takedowns, 17 escapes, nine reversals and 20 total near falls. Andrew was named Academic All-OAC and as a NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Scholar All-American. BW compiled a school-record 18 victories with an 18-8 overall record, won the OAC title with a perfect 5-0 record and placed an all-time best second at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional Tournament. BW also was 31st of 53 teams at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   

Andrew Sierawski grew up in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from Delaware Hayes High School.

Andrew played four years of football and earned four varsity letters. He wrestled for four years and lettered four times. He also played baseball for three years and lettered three times.

In wrestling, Andrew was first-team All-Ohio Capital Conference and placed seventh at the 2014 OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) State Tournament.

Academically, Andrew was an Honor Roll student, a Scholar-Athlete and a member of the National Honors Society.
