ACADEMIC MAJOR:   History

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Kaegan Pearsall competed in his second season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He received his second certificate of participation.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Kaegan competed in his first season of wrestling and earned a certificate of particpation. He had an overall record of 6-12 with one pin, three takedowns, 17 escapes, three reversals and four total near falls. BW set a single-season school-record with 17 wins, finished 17-6 overall and 4-1 in OAC dual matches, won the 29th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament, placed sixth at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional and 20th at the 2015 NCAA Div. III National.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Kaegan competed in his second season of wrestling and received a certificate of participation. He battled for mat time as a back up to Division III All-American Garrett Chase '16 at 174 pounds. Kaegan compiled a 7-6 record with five pins. He also had five takedowns, 10 escapes, five reversals and two near falls. BW compiled a school-record 18 victories with an 18-8 overall record, won the OAC title with a perfect 5-0 record and placed an all-time best second at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional Tournament. BW also was 31st of 53 teams at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Kaegan Pearsall grew up in Moretown, Vermont and graduated from Harwood Union.

Kaegan wrestled and earned three letters. He was a state qualifier and won a state championship.

Academically, Kaegan was an Honors student.
