BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Kenny Faulkner competed in his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He earned his second varsity letter.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Kenny competed in his first season of wrestling and receieved a certificate of participation. He competed for mat time at 165 pound. Kenny had a 8-12 overall record with 12 takedowns, 22 escapes, one reversal and two total near falls. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Kenny competed in his second season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He wrestled anywhere from 157 to 174 pounds and compiled a 13-8 record with two technical falls. Kenny also had 32 takedowns, 23 escapes, three reversals and 15 total near falls. BW set a single-season school-record with 17 wins, finished 17-6 overall and 4-1 in OAC dual matches, won the 29th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament, placed sixth at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional and 20th at the 2015 NCAA Div. III National Tournament.

as a junior in 2015-2016, Kenny competed in his third season of wrestling and earned his second letter. He battled for mat time at either 165 or 174 pounds. Kenny compiled a 13-12 record with 41 takedwons, 41 escapes, two reversals and 18 near falls. BW reset the school-record for single-season wins with 18, compile an 18-8 overall and perfect 5-0 OAC record and an OAC title and place second at the 2016 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL:  Kenny grew up in Beliot, Ohio and graduated from Beliot West Branch High School.

Kenny played football and lettered twice and earned three letters in wrestling.

In wrestling, Kenny was first-team All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference, first-team All-Eastern Ohio Wrestling League and placed seventh at the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) State Tournament.

Academically, Kenny was an Honor Roll student and a Scholar-Athlete.
