ACADEMIC MAJOR: History
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Blake Perry competed in his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He received his third certificate of participation.
GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Blake competed in his first season of wrestling and received a certificate of participation for his efforts. He competed for mat time at 149 pounds. Blake had a 6-13 overall record with eight takedowns, two escapes, four reversals and one total near fall. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Blake competed in his second season of wrestling and earned a certificate of paricipation. He had an overall record of 1-12 with four takedowns and four escapes. BW set a single-season school-record with 17 wins, finished 17-6 overall and 4-1 in OAC dual matches, won the 29th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament, placed sixth at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional and 20th at the 2015 NCAA Div. III National
As a junior in 2015-2016, Blake competed in his third season of wrestling and received his third certificate of participation. He battled for mat time as a back up for senior Div. III national qualifier David Shapiro '16 and freshman All-OAC 165-pounder Anthony Arroyo '19 at 165 pounds. Blake compiled a 0-13 record with two takedowns and 19 escapes. BW compiled a school-record 18 victories with an 18-8 overall record, won the OAC title with a perfect 5-0 record and placed an all-time best second at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional Tournament. BW also was 31st of 53 teams at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Blake grew up in Jefferson, Ohio and graduated from Jefferson Area High School in the spring of 2013.
Blake wrestled for four years and earned four varsity letters. He also played four years of football and earned three letters.
In wrestling, Blake was a three-time District qualifier.
In football, Blake earned All-Ashtabula County honors three times.
