BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Chris Head competed in his first season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He hopes to earn his first varsity letter.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2015-2016, Chris competed in his first season of wrestling and hopes to earn his first varsity letter. He battled for mat time and split his efforts between the 174 and 184-pound weight classes. Chris compiled an 8-7 record with five pins and one technical fall. He also had 15 takedowns, 16 escapes, four reversals and 16 near falls. BW reset the school-record for single-season wins with 18, compile an 18-8 overall and perfect 5-0 OAC record and an OAC title and place second at the 2016 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Chris grew up in Massillon, Ohio and graduated from Jackson High School.

Chris wrestled for four years and earned four varsity letterts. He also played baseball for two years.

In wrestling, Chris was a three-time second-team All-Federal League and two-time All-Stark County competitor. The team captain also was a two-time "Top Gun" Tournamet place-winner.

Chris was a member of the Key Club and Spanish Club.
