Hamilton and Kapusta Named as NGCA All-American Scholars

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University juniors to-be-seniors Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St Joseph Academy) and Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) have been named as 2011-12 National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar recipients for their efforts this past season. This is the second straight season that Hamilton has been recognized by the NGCA.

"We are extremely proud of Brooke and Rebecca," said second-year Head Coach Alyson Campbell, who has led the Yellow Jackets to back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference titles and a spot in the NCAA Division III National Tournament.  "Both young women have their priorities in the right place and are outstanding student-athletes.

"Both Brooke and Rebecca are excellent students in the classroom, leaders on our campus and on the golf course and exemplify the true meaning of a Division III student-athlete," continued Campbell. They are strong role models for our younger student-athletes to emulate. The nice part is that both return next year and we look forward to their leading us to another great season."
