Yellow Jacket Women Golfers Take Second at Wooster

WOOSTER, OHIO --  Junior Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) carded a round of 87 as the defending Ohio Athletic Conference champion Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team placed second of four teams today (Saturday, September 17) at The College of Wooster Fall Invitational Tournament at the Wooster Country Club.

This was the second of five fall tournaments for the Yellow Jackets.  B-W totalled 366 strokes on the par-72 and 6,535-yard Wooster C.C. layout.


In addition to Kaputsa, junior Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) and sophomore Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/ Darby) each had rounds of 89, sophomore Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/ Christian) had a 91 and sophomore Emilee Woolf (Ravenna) had a 94.

Playing as individuals, sophomore Sarah Allred (Akron/ Green) had a 92 and junior Sarah Terrill (Cuyahoga Falls/ Cuyahoga Christian Academy) had a 112.

B-W next plays on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23-24 when it travels to Tiffin, Ohio to play at the annual Heidelberg University Fall Tournament at the Mohawk Country Club. Tee times are to be announced
