Women's Golfers Seventh at Clouse Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, OHIO -- The defending Ohio Athletic Conference champion Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team is seventh out of 18 teams today (Saturday, October 8, 2011) in the two-day Pat Clouse Invitational in Springfield, Ohio.  The invitational is hosted by Wittenberg University.

This is the last fall tournament for the Yellow Jackets.  B-W totaled 346 strokes on the par-71 and 6,400-yard Windy Knoll Golf Club layout.

Junior Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) finished today tied for 17th after a round of 81.  Following Hamilton, sophomore Emilee Woolf (Ravenna) is tied for 31st after a round of 85.  Sophomore Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/ Christian) and junior Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) both fired rounds of 90 to place tied for 48th.  Sophomore Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/ Darby) completed team play for the day with a score of 93 tying her for 60th.

Playing as an individual, sophomore Sarah Allred (Akron/ Green) carded a round of 92 and currently tied in 57th place.

The Yellow Jackets conclude the fall portion of their schedule tomorrow, October 9th.
