BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University volleyball team, under the direction of third-year Head Coach Kacie Ehinger, opens the 2021 campaign on September 1 as it travels to Steubenville for a non-conference match against Franciscan University.

BW will then play its first of three invitationals when it travels to Alliance to compete in the University of Mount Union Invitational on Friday and Saturday, September 3 and 4.   The Yellow Jackets will also compete in the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Friday and Saturday, September 10 and 11 and the Franklin (Ind.) College Invitational on FRiday and Saturday, Septmber 23 and 24.

BW will play its first home match on Tuesday, September 7 when it hosts a non-conference match against Thiel (Pa.) College.   The Yellow Jackets lone other home non-conference match is on Wednesday, September 15 when they team hosts crosstown rival Case western Reserve University.

The rest of the Yellow Jackets road non-conference schedule features matches against Adrian (Mich.) College on September 18, Hiram College on September 21, Juniata (Pa.) College and Wittenberg University in a tri-match on Saturday, October 9 at Muskingum University and a match against Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, October 30 at Marietta College.

BW opens Ohio Athletic Conference action at home on Wednesday, September 29 againt Otterbein University.  The Yellow Jackets will also host OAC matches against Muskingum on Octover 16, crosstown rival John Caroll University on October 10 and Mount Union on October 27.

BW will hit the road for OAC contests against Capital University on October 2, Ohio Northern University on October 6, Heidelberg University on October 13, Wilmington College on October 23 and Marietta on October 40.

The OAC tournament will be contested during the week of November 1. 

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2021 spring season with an overall record of 14-6 and a 13-5 mark in the OAC.  BW advanced to the OAC Tournament Semifinals.
