BEREA, Ohio- The Baldwin Wallace University volleyball team, under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Scott Carter, opens up the 2018 season when it travels to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to play in the Greyhound Premier Invitational, hosted by Moravian College on August 31 and September 1.

The Jackets will be play their first dual match on the road against La Roche (Pa.) College and Waynesburg (Pa.) University on September 5. Road action will continue with tournaments hosted by the College of Brockport (N.Y.) on September 7-8 and Nazareth (N.Y.) College on September 14-15.

BW will return home for two home non-league contests, the first coming on September 17 against Penn St. Behrend (Pa.). The home-opener is slated for 7:30 p.m. inside Ursprung Gymnasium. Cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University will travel to BW on September 19 for the Marcia French Match in the team's final non-league home match of the year.

Then, Capital will travel to Berea as the Jackets host Crusaders in their conference opener on September 28. BW will host conference matches against Ohio Northern University on October 2, Heidelberg University on October 9, Wilmington College on October 20, and will round out their 2018 campaign with a Senior's and Parents' Day match against Marietta University on October 27.

BW finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 26-6 and a 4-5 mark through conference play, which helped them reach the quarterfinals of the OAC Tournament.
