AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University freshman outside hitter Ivy Earl (Howell) has earned Volleyball Player of the Week honors for the first time in her young career.

The Yellow Jackets went 6-0 over the week behind Earl's offensive and defensive play. Earl tallied 51 kills, six service aces offensively and 48 digs on the defensive end. BW finished the week going undefeated in the Golden Eagle Invitational over the weekend. 

Earl has started in 3 of her first 8 matches and has amassed 61 digs, 60 kills, and a number of blocks.

BW will be back in action this weekend as they travel Nazareth (NY.) College in Rochester, New York, for a four-game tournament. First match will be Friday against host Nazareth, with game time at 4pm.
