BW (8-14, 1-3 OAC), fell in four sets to Heidelberg (12-13, 4-0 OAC) by scores of 22-25, 25-23, 11-25 and 26-28.
Defensively, freshman libero Arlayna Newcomer (Norwalk/St. Paul) led the way with 20 digs. Deleur contributed 18 and junior defensive specialist Paige Pileski (Elyria) had a career-best 16.
With her 18 digs today, Deleur, who now has 1,383 career digs, needs just two more to tie Eily Albanese who is seventh on the all-time digs list with 1,385.
BW is back in action on Saturday, October 19 when it plays two road matches. First, the Yellow Jackets play an OAC match at Wilmington College at 11 a.m. match in the Fred Razik Arena. BW then heads to Springfield to take on No. 11 nationally-ranked and 2011 NCAA Division III National Champion Wittenberg University at 7 p.m.
