BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Arlayna competed in her first season of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University and earned her first varsity letter.
ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshan in 2013-2014, Arlayna was voted as the team's Rookie of the Year.
GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Arlayna played her first season of volleyball and earned her first varsity letter. She saw playing time as the libero. Arlayna appeared in 24 games, with 288 digs and 11 assists. She was also voted as the team's Rookie of the Year. BW finished 11-18 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND: Arlayna Newcomer grew up in Norwalk, Ohio and graduated from Norwalk St. Paul High School. She played four years of both volleyball and basketball and earned two varsity letters in each sport. She also played three years of softball and earned two varsity letters. In basketball, Arlayna was named first-team All-Firelands Conference, honorable mention All-District and was named as the St. Paul H.S. Most Valuable Offensive Player during her senior season.
Academically, Arlayna received first-team Academic All-Firelands Conference honors in volleyball, basketball and softball. She also was a member of Key Club, received a Award of Merit and an Award of Excellence from the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association).
