ACADEMIC MAJOR: Human Resources

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2013-2014, Katie competed in her third season of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University and earned her third varsity letter. 

GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION: Katie has started off to a solid volleyball career thus far. BW has recorded a 41-48 overall record during her first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket. She has appeared in 33 games played and has recorded 26 kills, 466 set assists, 30 service aces, and 171 digs.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Katie competed in her first season of volleyball. She played in twenty-three games and recorded 13 kills, nine service aces, and 37 digs.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Katie competed in her second season of volleyball. She played in five games and recorded 17 set assists, two service aces and three digs.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Katie competed in her third season of volleyball and earned her third varsity letter. She played in 20 games and recorded 286 set assists, 19 service aces and 131 digs.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Katie played four years of volleyball and track and also one year of basketball. Katie earned four varsity letters in track, and two in volleyball.

As a junior and senior, Katie earned multiple accolades for her outstanding play on the court during those two seasons. As a junior, Katie was named as a first-team All-Suburban Lakes League, second-team All-District, and an honorable mention All-Wood County performer. She was also named to the All-Touenamnet team for an invitational that Clay High School hosts annually. As a senior, following the season she was named the teams Most Valuable Player. She was also named as a first-team All-SLL, as well as the SLL Player of the Year. She recieved the same award from the district as she was named to the first-team and as the Player of the Year for her district. Katie was a first-team All-Wood County and and Honorable Mention All-Ohio, she was named as the Suburban Press Player of the Year. Katie was also named to two All-tournament teams as she helped her team compete for the title at each tournament. In track, as a junior she was second-team All-SLL 4x2 relay,  and placed ninth at the indoor state meet in the long jump. During track her senior year, she placed in the top ten for the second consecutive year in the long jump.  She recorded the fourth best triple jump in Eastwood history with a distance of 30'8". Katie also holds a school record in volleyball as she recorded 724 set assists during her junior year.  Katie recorded 1,445 set assists for her career.
