Litzinger Garners First Career OAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Accolade

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer freshman midfielder Mary Litzinger (Sardinia/Eastern Brown) has been named the Midstream Lighting Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career. 

Litzinger earns honor after scoring four goals for a total of eight points in BW's 4-1 over crosstown rival John Carroll University last Wednesday and the Yellow Jackets 3-0 victory over Muskingum University last Saturday.  She scored two goals in each game, which marked the first time this season to find the back of the net multiple times. 

In her career, Litzinger has appeared in 14 games. She is tied for fifth in the OAC and second on the team with six goals, including three game winners. Litzinger is tied for second on the team with two assists and is second on the team with 14 points. She has taken 16 shots with nine on goal.

BW is back in action on Wednesday, October 19 when it travels to Tiffin for an OAC game against Heidelberg University at the Hidden Valley Soccer Complex at 4:00 p.m.
