BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team dropped their final home non-conference game to Adrian (Mich.) College by a final score of 2-1 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.
BW Leaders (5-2)
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All- OAC midfielder Maddie Farrell (Macomb, Mich./Dakota) scored the lone goal of the game for the Yellow Jackets. It was her second goal of the season.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Katie Scott (Lewis Center/Olentangy) led with three saves
Adrian Leaders (4-2-2)
- Annamarie Fosmoen scored a goal and added an assist.
- Eve Davis scored a goal
- McKenna Mahoney added one assist.
- Katelyn Stanton led with one save.
First Half (0-0, Tied)
- BW led the half with six total shots compared to the Bulldogs three shots.
- Scott made two saves in the half.
- The Yellow Jackets led the half with three corner kick opportunities.
Second Half (2-1, Adrian)
- Davis scored the first goal off a pass from Fosmoen.
- Fosmoen followed up her assist with goal off an assist from Mahoney.
- Farrell got BW on the board when she nailed the back of the net off a loose ball after a free kick.
- The Yellow Jackets led the half with 10 total shots compared to Adrian's seven shots.
- Stanton picked up her lone save in the save.
- BW led the half with three corner kick opportunities.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, September 23 when they travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. to take on No. 8 nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University on the Carnegie Mellon University Soccer Field.
