AUSTINTOWN, OHIO – Baldwin Wallace University softball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC right fielder Alexis Boledovic (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) and freshman right hander Nikki Camarati (Brunswick/Holy Name) have been named the OAC Softball Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. 

Boledovic and Camarati led BW to a 9-1 record at the Tucson Invitational Games, including a perfect 8-0 record against NCAA Division III opponents.

Boledovic, who earns her first weekly honor, led the Yellow Jackets in every offensive category last week.   She batted .583 with 21 hits, six doubles, three triples and her first collegiate grand slam and homerun.  Boledovic knocked in 14 runs and stole six bases as the leadoff batter.

For her career, Boledovic, who is a two-time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC selection, has appeared in 114 career games with a .407 batting average and .532 slugging percentage.  She has 147 hits, 28 doubles, seven triples, one home run, 56 runs batted in (RBIs), 30 stolen bases and 29 walks.   Off the field, Boledovic is a Dean's List student a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies.

Camarati garners her first weekly accolade as she appeared in six games with four starts and had a record of 3-1 with one save in 26 innings pitched.  She led the team with an impressive 0.54 earned run average (ERA) with a team-best 33 strikeouts and nine walks.  Camarati posted two shutouts, including one against NAIA seventh-nationally ranked Indiana Wesleyan University.  She recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts in her collegiate debut and tied that career-mark in her final game of the trip. 

BW is back in action on Saturday, March 16 when it travels to Hiram for a non-conference doubleheader against Hiram College at 1 p.m.  The Yellow Jackets open OAC play on Saturday, March 23 when they travel to Marietta to take on Marietta College at 1 p.m.
