BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University softball team, under the direction of veteran head coach Tom Spencer, will open up the 2019 season with its annual spring break trip.
The Yellow Jackets will travel to Tuscon, Arizona, to compete in the Tuscon Invitational Games from March 4-8.
Following the Arizona trip, BW will hit the road for three straight doubleheaders, including the beginning of Ohio Athletic Conference action on Saturday, March 23, against Marietta College.
The Yellow Jackets will then return to Berea to host Thiel (Pa.) College on Tuesday, March 26, for the 2019 home-opening doubleheader. BW will also host one other non-conference doubleheader against Adrian (Mich.) College.
On the OAC home slate for 2019 is the University of Mount Union, Wilmington College, Heidelberg University and Capital University.

The OAC Tournament will begin on May 3 with the championship game being contested on May 5.
BW finished the 2018 season with a 16-16 overall record and a 9-9 mark in the OAC.
