BEREA, OHIO -- A trio of Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball players were named to the 2013-2014 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.  Junior point guard Jaron Crowe (Mentor) was named to the first-team, senior guard Kevin Krakowiak (Valley City/Holy Name) was named to the second-team for the third straight year and senior forward Kyle Payne (Brunswick) earned his fourth straight All-OAC accolade and was tabbed honorable mention.  The trio helped BW to a 14-13 record and its third straight winning season.

Crowe was third on the team in scoring at 15.4 points-per-game, grabbed 2.6 rebounds-per-game, led the OAC in assists with 156 and the team in steals with 31. It marked the second straioght year that he led the OAC in assists.  In addition, Crowe shot 49.8 percent from the floor (144 of 289), 35.3% from three-point range (41 of 116) and 75% from the foul line (87 of 116). He was third with 41 three-pointers. Crowe had a career-high 29 points against Marietta College on January 11, 2014.

Crowe will enter his senior season having played 71 games, including 57 starts, scored 742 points, passed for 349 assists, grabbed 155 rebounds and made 107 three-pointers and 74 steals. Earlier this season, Crowe earned OAC Player of the Week accolades.

Krakowiak led the team in scoring at 16.3 ppg., grabbed 4.6 rpg. and was among the OAC leaders with 75 three-pointers. He shot 39.5% from the floor (152 of 385), including 40.1% from three-point range (75 of 187), and 79.5% from the foul line (62 of 78). He also had 35 assists, 24 steals and six blocked shots. Krakowiak had a career-high 36 points, including a school-record nine three-pointers, against the University of Mount Union on February 5, 2014.

Krakowiak ended his career having played in 101 career games, including 98 starts, scored 1,383 points to rank 15th all-time, grabbed 338 rebounds, made 202 three-pointers, passed for 133 assists, made 84 steals and blocked 32 shots. He also was one of the best free throw shooters in school history by shooting 85.3% for his career on 249 of 292 attempts. In addition to being a three-time second-team All-OAC choice, Krakowiak earned OAC Player of the Week three times during his career.

Payne was second in scoring at 16.2 ppg. despite missing parts of three games and all of three others with injuries. He led the team with 6.1 rpg., sot 51.3% from the floor (136 of 265), 31.8% from three-point range (14 of 44) and 60.9% from the foul line (103 of 169). He also passed for 24 assists, made 16 steals and blocked 15 shots.

For his career, Payne was 10th all-time in scoring with 1,541 points, ninth in rebounding with 556 and had 80 assists, 56 steals and 42 blocked shots. He had a career-high 26 points against Muskingum University on January 12, 2013 and a career-high 14 rebounds four days later versus Heidelberg University. Payne was a first-team All-OAC pick as a junior, second-team this winter and as a sophomore and was an honorable mention All-OAC and the OAC Freshman of the Year in 2010-2011. He additionally earned OAC Player of the Week honors on three separate occassions during his career, was a third-team All-Great Lakes Region pick by the D3hoops.com web site as a junior and was a preseason Division III All-American this winter.
