Four BW Men's Basketball Players Earn Academic All-OAC

BEREA, Ohio -  Four Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball student-athletes have been named to the 2013-2014 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

The four are Skyler Simpson (Centerburg), Zach Warner (Clyde), Josh Ingle(Shelby) and Ryan Walsh (Easton, Pa./ Easton Area).

Simpson helped the team to a 14-13 record this season and was a four-year varsity contributor. The six-foot and seven-inch senior carries a 3.53 grade average in middle childhood education and intends to teach and coach following graduation. He played in all 27 games and averaged 3.6 ppg., grabbed 1.9 rpg. and had 27 three-pointers. He earned the Al Sirat Grotto Player of the Game award this winter.

Warner
 is a sophomore forward with a 3.91 grade average in pre-physical therapy. He came off the bench and played in 10 games and averaged 0.9 ppg. with two triples and a steal.

Ingle is a junior forward with a 3.79 grade average in mathematics. He also came off the bench in seven games and averaged 1.3 rpg. This is his second straight appearance on the Academic All-OAC team.  

Walsh
 is a sophomore international buisness major with a 3.81 grade point average. He came off the bench and played in six contests and contributed 0.3 ppg. and 0.5 rpg.
