BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Jaron Crowe played his third season of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He was one of the best point guards in the Ohio Athletic Conference and Lakes Region of Division III.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:   In his first three varsity seasons at BW, Jaron has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 50-29 record. He has appeared in 71 games, including 57 starts, and scored 742 points, grabbed 194 rebounds, passed for 349 assists , made 107 three-pointers and 74 steals.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Jaron missed the entire season due to injury. He received a medical red-shirt.

As a red-shirt freshman in 2011-2012, Jaron played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter.  He appeared in 19 games, including five starts, and averaged 6.3 points and 1.7 rebounds--per-game. He was second on the team with 65 assists and had 26 three-pointers. Jaron had an outstanding 65 assists-to-16 turovers ratio (better than 4:1). He also canned 84.6 percent of his foul shots (22-of-26).  He helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 16-10 record.

As a red-shirt sophomore in 2012-13, Jaron completed his second season of basketball and earned his second letter. He started all 25 games, was third in scoring at 8.2 ppg., led the OAC with 128 assists (5.1 assists per game).  Jaron shot 46.0 percent (64-of-139) from the field, including 46.5 percent (40-of-86) from three-point range, averaged 2.1 rpg.  He scored a season-high 19 points on two occasions, with the last coming in an 89-58 win against Muskingum University on Feb. 16. He also had a career-high 10 assists versus Muskingum. BW finished 19-6 overall.

As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Jaron played his third season of basketball and earned his third letter. He was the starting point guard for all 27 games and averaged 15.4 ppg and 2.6 rpg. and led the OAC In assists for the seciond straight season with 156. He also had a team-high 31 steals. Jaron was named as the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. He scored a career-high 29 points in a 97-86 loss at 19th-ranked Marietta College on January 14, 2014. Jaron was a first-team All-OAC selection and third-team All-Great Lakes Region pick by the website D3hoops.com. BW finished 14-13 overall.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Jaron will be one of the top returning point guards in Division III.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Jaron Crowe grew up in Mentor, Ohio and graduated from Mentor High School. He played four years of basketball and earned three varsity letters. He also served as a team captain for two years.

As a sophomore, Jaron earned first-team All-Lake Erie League honors and third-team All-Lake County honors.  As a junior, he earned first-team All-LEL and first-team All-Lake County honors, second- team All-Northeast Ohio and was honorable mention All-Ohio.  As a senior, Jaron was first-team All-LEL, first-team All-Lake County, first-team All-Northeast Ohio, Special Mention All-Ohio and was The Plain Dealer Player of the Year. As a senior, Jaron led Mentor H.S. to a 23-4 record and to the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) State Tournament Final Four.
