ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Communication Studies

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Justin Roth will play his second season of men's basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He missed the entire 2013-2014 season due to an injury.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman and sophomore from 2010-2012, Justin attended NCAA Division II Lake Erie College, played two seasons of basketball and earned two varsity letters.  After two seasons at Lake Erie, Justin appeared in 23 games, including one start, and averaged 2.7 points and 0.8 rebounds-per-game with nine assists, nine three-pointers, four steals and two blocked shots. He scored a career-high 13 points in a game at Notre Dame College during the 2010-2011 season.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Justin played his first season of basketball.  In 10 games played, he averaged 10.6 ppg. and 1.9 rpg. with 13 three-pointers, 12 assists and eight steals. He scored a career-high 19 points in a 94-79 win against Olivet (Mich.) College on Dec. 17. He earned his first varsity letter. BW finished 19-6 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Justin missed the entire season with an injury. He is expected to apply for and receive a medical red-shirt season.

As a red-shirt senior in 2014-2015, Justin is expected to be a key member of the Yellow Jacket varsity.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Justin Roth grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Parma Senior High School. He played four seasons of basketball and earned four varsity letters. 

As a junior in 2008-2009, Justin was named to the All-Northeastern Ohio Conference first-team and earned The Plain Dealer Player of the Week honors.  As a senior in 2009-2010, he was named a The Plain Dealer Player of the Week for the second time in his career, first-team All-NOC and as the NOC Player of the Year and honorable mention All-Ohio.

Justin finished his career as Parma City Schools' all-time leading scorer with 1,700 points and averaged 25.0 ppg. as a senior.
