BW Women's Indoor Track Team Finish Fourth at Denison Shannon Meet
GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's indoor track and field team finished fourth at the annual Denison University Bob Shannon Invitational Meet inside the Mitchell Fieldhouse.

The BW women scored 65 points to finish fourth of 10 teams.

The Yellow Jacket women were led by junior Maggie Urban (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) who won the weight throw with a career-best toss of 50-feet and 6.25 inches. Placing second were sophomore transfer Erin Kasper (Amherst/ Steele) in the high jump with a leap of 4'11.75" and junior Abby Snow (Massillon/ Jackson) in the triple jump with a leap of 33'4.5". Snow also placed third in the high jump at 4'11.75" (more misses than Kasper) and in the long jump with a leap of 16'1.75". Other third place finishers included sophomore Lyndsey Armstrong (Geneva) in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.88 seconds (she ran a career-best 9.83 seconds in the preliminaries) and senior Dusica Vasic (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) in the 5000-meter run in a career-best time of 19:58.44.

The Yellow Jacket track and field teams are back in action on Friday, February 13 when it hosts the annual Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center. Field events begin at 4:00 p.m. Next Saturday, Feb. 14, BW travels to Westerville and Otterbein University for the annual All-Ohio Division III Meet.
