ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Psychology/ English

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Abby Snow competed in her third season of track and field at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference competitor earned her third letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW:  Abby carries a 3.99 grade point average, is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and member of the Alpha Lambda, Chi Sigma Alpha, Dayton C. Miller and Psi Chi (Psychology) honor societies. She received the Dr. Neille & Jeanne Shoemaker English Scholarship in 2015.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC AWARDS:  As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Abby earned Academic All-OAC honors in track. As a junior in 2014-2015, she earned Academic All-OAC honors in cross country and track.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2012-2013, Abby competed in her first year of indoor track. Abby had a career-best in the long jump (16'8") and season-bests in the 200-meter dash (28.94 seconds), 400-meter dash (1:05.25), high jump (4'11") and shot put (25'10.25"). 

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Abby competed in her second season of indoor track and field. She had running career-bests in the 55-meter dash (8.33 seconds), 60-meter hurdles (10.91 seconds) and high jump (5'0.25"). She had season-bests in the shot put (28'7.75") and long jump (15'8.75").

As a junior in 2014-2015, Abby competed in her third season of indoor track. She had career-bests in the triple jump (34'6.75") and shot put (29'8.75") and season-bests in the high jump (4'11.75") and long jump (16'3.75").

As a senior in 2015-2016, Abby is competing in her fourth season of indoor track.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Abby competed in her first season of outdoor track and earned her first letter. She had season-bests in the 200-meter dash (28.52 seconds), 800-meter run (2:49.92), long jump (16'3.25"), shot put (28'9.25) and javelin (27'.02").

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Abby competed in her second season of outdoor track and earned her second letter. She had career-bests in the seven-event heptathlon (3,924 points), 800 meters (2:39.52), 100-meter hurdles (16.87 seconds), high jump (5'1.75"), long jump (16'9.25"), triple jump (34'5.5"), shot put (29'2.75") and javelin (110'8"). She had season-best in the 200-meter dash (28.42 seconds).

As a junior in 2014-2015, Abby competed in her third season of outdoor track and earned her third letter. She competed primarily in the jumping events and javelin. She had career-bests in the long jump (16'11.5") and shot put (30'2.75") and season-bests in the triple jump (33'6.5") and javelin (108'1"). The BW women placed eighth at the 2015 NCAA Div. III National Championship Meet.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Abby is competing in her fourth season of outdoor track and hopes to earn her fourth letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Abby Snow grew up in Massillon, Ohio and graduated from Massillon-Jackson High School. 

Abby ran cross country and track and played basketball. She earned four letters in track, three in cross country and two in basketball.

In track, Abby was All-Federal League in the 300-meter hurdles and high jump. Her career-best in the 5k was 20:44. Her track career-bests were 5'2" in the high jump, 17'9" in the long jump and 46.98 in the 300 hurdles.

In basketball, Abby was named All-FL and honorable mention All-Stark County Honorable in 2010.

Academically, Abby was a Scholar-Athlete Award winner and received the Gold Certificate Scholar Award in 2012 for basketball.
