ACADEMIC MAJOR: Exercise Science
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Kali Fittro was unable to compete in her third season of track and field at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015 due to an injury. The Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete has earned three varsity letters.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Kali carries an outstanding 3.831 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. She also is a member of the Alpha Lambda and Chi Sigma Alpha honor societies.
ACADEMIC ALL-OAC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Kali earned Academic All-OAC honors in track. As a junior in 2014-2015, she earned Academic All-OAC honors in cross country and track.
ATHLETICS HONORS: As a sophomore, Kali earned second-team All-OAC honors in cross country and placed 12th individually at the 2013 OAC Championship Meet. As a sophomore in indoor track, she earned All-OAC honors in the 5000-meter run (third).
GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Kali ran her first season of indoor track. She had a season-best in the 5000-meter run (19:32.98).
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Kali ran her second season of indoor track. She earned All-OAC honors in the 5000-meter run (third) with a career-best time of 18:41.44 at the OAC Indoor Championship Meet. She also had season-bests in the 1000-meter run (3:25.96) and 1-mile run (5:40.90).
As a junior in 2014-2015, Kali was unable to compete in her third season of indoor track due to an injury.
As a senior in 2015-2016, Kali will compete in her third season of indoor track.
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Kali ran her first season of outdoor track and earned her first letter. Kali had a season-best in the 5000-meter run (19:32.01).
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Kali ran her second season of outdoor track and earned her second letter. She had a career-best in the 5000 meters (17:56.11) and a season-best in the 3000-meter run (10:53.89).
As a junior in 2014-2015, Kali was unable to compete in her third season of outdoor track due to an injury. DEspite her injury, Kali still earned Academic All-OAC honors. The BW women finished eighth at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Meet.
As a senior in 2015-2016, Kali is competing in her third season of outdoor track and hopes to earn her third letter.
