BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Marissa Hellisz is competing in her third season of track and field and basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. She hopes to earn her third varsity letter in track.

Marissa has earned one letter in basketball.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Marissa does not compete indoors because she is a member of the women's basketball team.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Marissa competed in her first season of track and earned her first varsity letter. She had a season-bests in the long jump (16'7.25") and triple jump (31'4").

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Marissa competed in her second season of outdoor track and earned her second letter. She had career-bests in the long jump (6'10.5") and triple jump (33'11.5"). She had season-bests in the 100-meter dash (13.88 seconds) and high jump (4'9").

As a junior in 2014-2015, Marissa is competing in her third season of outdoor track and hopes to earn her third letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Marissa Hellisz grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Parma Normandy High School.

Marissa played four years of basketball and earned four varsity letters. She also ran track for four years and letteted four times.

As a senior in basketball in 2011-2012, Marissa was the Northeast Ohio Conference Most Valuable Player and helped Normandy to win the conference title.

In track as a senior, Marissa was the MVP of her track team and was All-Notherast Ohio Conference in four events, including being the league champion in the long and high jumps. She helped the Invaders to the NOC title.
