ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Sport Management

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Cheryl Bell competed in her first season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The three-year letter winner in women's soccer earned her first letter in track.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:    As a freshman in 2012-2013, sophomore in 2013-2014 and junior in 2014-2015, Cheryl did not compete in indoor track.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Cheryl is competing in her second season of indoor track.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013 and sophomore in 2013-2014, Cheryl did not compete in outdoor track.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Cheryl competed in her first season of outdoor track and earned her first varsity letter. She had season-bests in the 100-meter dash (14.26 seconds), 200-meter dash (28.43 seconds).

As a senior in 2015-2016, Cheryl is competing in her second season of outdoor track and hopes to earn her second letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Cheryl Bell grew up in Piqua, Ohio and graduated from Piqua High School.

Cheryl played three years of soccer and earned three varsity letters. She missed her junior season due to an injury. She also ran track for four years and lettered four times.

In soccer, Cheryl earned first-team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference as a freshman and senior and second-team All-GWOC accolades as a sophomore. She was the GWOC Co-Player of the Year as a senior. She also was first-team All-District as a senior and second-team All-Dayton Area as a sophomore.

In track as a junior, Cheryl was a Regional qualifier in the 400-meter dash.  As a senior in track, she was honorable mention All-GWOC.

Academically, Cheryl was a Scholar-Athlete award winner all four years.
