KANSAS CITY, Mo.—
The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award for the 2016 season.

The Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award is an annual award that recognizes teams across the country that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.

The award is based on a percentage calculated by the total number of cards received by players or coaches divided by the team's total number of games played. BW was one of 57 teams in the college ranks to earn the silver level award (11-30%).

The Yellow Jackets finished the year with an overall record of 12-9-1 and an OAC mark of 5-4. BW advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals for the third consecutive year.
