KANSAS CITY, Mo.—
Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender Kelly Gough (Hudson) and sophomore All-OAC forward Rachel Bender (Massillon/Jackson) of the Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team have earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) postseason honors.

Gough, who earns her first All-America selection and her third All-Great Lakes Region honor, was a third-team All-America selection and was tabbed as a first-team all-region honoree.  She was named to the All-Great Lakes second-team in 2015 and to the third-team in 2014.   Gough was also honored by the OAC as its Defender of the Year and as a first-team all-conference selection. She is a two-time OAC Defender of the Year honoree and a three-time first-team All-OAC selection. This season, Gough led the BW defenders with four goals for eight points.  In her career, Gough appeared in a school-record tying 84 games, scored 17 goals and added four assists for 38 points.

Bender, who garners her first All-Great Lakes Region accolade, was named to the third-team. She is a two-time first-team All-OAC selection and an Academic-All-OAC honoree.  Bender was also named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 team. She led the conference during the regular season with a career-high 48 points and was second in the league during the regular season with career-bests in goals (19) and assists (9). In two seasons, Bender has played in 44 games and has tallied 30 goals, 13 assists and 73 points.

BW finished the year with an overall record of 12-9-1 and an OAC mark of 5-4. The Yellow Jackets advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals for the third consecutive year.
