Melanie Winters Garners First Career OAC Weekly Honor

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University freshman multi-event standout Melanie Winters (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete-of-the-Week for her efforts in helping the Yellow Jackets  to the team title at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship Meet on Friday, February 15.

Winters, who earned her first career weekly honor, placed first in the long jump with a career-best leap of 17-feet and 10.25-inches and was second in the high jump with a career-best jump of 5'5" and in the 55-meter hurdles in a career-best 8.38 seconds. She also was a member of the winning 4 x 200-meter relay team that placed first with a time of 1:46.76. Individually,
