CHARLOTTE, N.C. – All-Ohio Athletic Conference junior Victoria Brown (Berlin Center/ Western Reserve) won the women's high jump and four other Yellow Jackets posted top-10 finishes as the Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed on the second day of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte 49er Classic today (Saturday, March 16, 2013) in Charlotte, N.C. The meet was unscored.
Brown posted a career-best 5-7.00 leap in the high jump to capture first place.
Freshmen Sam Lang (Akron/ Green) and Ashley Wakut (Seven Hills) and juniors Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) and Nichole Smith (Geneva) teamed to place ninth in the 4-by-400-meter relay in a time of 4:01.80.
BW returns north and next competes Saturday, March 30 at the Ohio Athletic Conference East Split Meet at Marietta College.
