Lemon Named OAC Athlete of the Week

BEREA, OHIO-- Junior sprinter Kaylan Lemon (Canton/Massillon Perry) was named today (Monday, April 2, 2012) as Ohio Athletic Conference Athletes-of-the-Week for their efforts at the 2012 OAC East Split Squad Meet. This marked the first career weekly honor for Lemon.

Lemon earned her honor after she won the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.70 seconds, 200-meter dash in 25.87 seconds and anchored the winning 400-meter relay team  in a time of 59.76 seconds.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this Saturday when they will travel to Delaware to compete at the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at 12:30 p.m.  The only home meet of the spring is scheduled for  Saturday, April 21 when the teams will host the annual Sparky Adams Invitational in the George Finnie Stadium at 10:00 a.m.
