Pfeiffer Earns Third Career OAC Indoor Men's Field Athlete of the Week Honor

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) has been selected as the OAC Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and for the third time in his career.

BW traveled to the Third Jud Logan Light Giver Open, hosted by Ashland University on Saturday. Pfeiffer earns his second honor of the season and the third of his career after winning the high jump with a height of 6 feet and 10.6 inches. Pfeiffer's high jump broke a 10 year-old BW indoor record, previously set by Brandon Eddy in 2014. He is currently tied for first in the nation and is first in the OAC after his performance this weekend.

Last year, Pfeiffer was awarded All-OAC honors twice after winning the high jump in the indoor and outdoor championships.

Off of the field, he is a Jacket Scholar and Dean's List student.

The Yellow Jackets return to the track on Friday, Feb. 9 as they host the Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
