Pfeiffer Achieves Two-Time All-American Status at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) earned his second career All-American honor at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Coastal Carolina (S.C.) University at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.

Pfeiffer placed third in the high jump with a height of 2.11 meters. He is the first BW male high jumper in modern history (cir. 1974) to earn indoor and outdoor All-American honors in the same academic year. Pfeiffer is also the first male student-athlete in 14 years to earn these honors twice for a single event in the same academic year. This was his second appearance at the national level.
