OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Bob Kahn Invitational, hosted by Oberlin College. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) won the 1500-meter run in a time of 4:00.75.
• Freshman All-OAC sprinter Wesley Noeth (Powell / Olentangy Liberty) placed third in the 400-meter dash in a time of 49.99.
• Senior distance runner Jackson Tucker (Akron / Lake Center Christian School) finished fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:02.39.

Field events highlights:

• Freshman Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) won the shot put with a distance of 13.92 meters. Olsen also competed in the discus throw and placed second with a distance of 41.23 meters.
• Freshman Ethan Jones (Avon) finished second in the shot put with a distance of 13.27 meters.
• Senior Joe Barnes (West Plains, Mo.) placed third in the discus throw with a distance of 39.51 meters.
• Senior John Haberman (Hamburg, N.Y.) finished third in the shot put with a distance of 13.13 meters.

On the relay side:

• In the 4x400 meter relay crew, Noeth, Stanley, sophomore All-OAC Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia) and junior Nick Young (Wadsworth) placed fifth in a time of 3:30.71.

Select members of the men's outdoor track and field team competed at the three-day Raleigh Relays, hosted by NCAA Division I North Carolina State University. The meet was unscored.

Field events highlights:

• Junior All-American high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 2.05 meters.
• Sophomore All-OAC triple jumper Drexton Friscone (Columbia Station / Columbia) finished 28th in the triple jump with a distance of 13.72 meters. Friscone also competed in the long jump and placed 37th with a distance of 6.35 meters.
• Junior Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind. / International School of Indiana) finished 26th in the shot put with a distance of 14.84 meters. Tellas also competed in the hammer throw and placed 39th with a distance of 48.39 meters.
• Junior Mason Kiesel (New London / South Central) placed 35th in the shot put with a distance of 14.03 meters.
• Junior Thomas Hickman (Oxford / Talawanda) finished 47th in the hammer throw with a distance of 44.25 metes.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 6 as they compete at the Marv Fyre Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
