Noeth, Sikorski, and Others Earn All-OAC Honors; No. 18 Men's Indoor Track and Field Stands in Seventh Place After Day One of OAC Championships

NEW CONCORD, Ohio - The No. 18 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team stands in seventh place after the first day of the two-day Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Muskingum University.

BW is seventh of nine teams with 14 points. University of Mount Union is first with 64 points.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included: 

  • In the 60-meter hurdles prelims, senior All-OAC hurdler ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) qualifies for the finals by finishing second in a time of 8.39.

Field events highlighted:

  • Freshman Connor Radojcsics (Mount Gilead / Northmor) placed sixth in the pole vault with a distance of 4.36 meters.
  • Sophomore Kaeden Faggs (Marion / Harding) finished sixth in the long jump with a distance of 6.65 meters.
  • Freshman Ethan Long (Springboro) placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 16.07 meters.

On the relay side:

  • In the 4000 distance medley relay squad, senior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine), freshman Wesley Noeth (Powell / Olentangy Liberty), sophomore Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia), and freshman Dillon Hach (Medina) earned indoor All-OAC honors after finishing third in a time of 10:14.74.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 24 for the second and final day of the OAC Indoor Championships. Saturday's action is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. inside the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.
