Men's Tennis Concludes Regular Season with Loss to Otterbein

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – In the final regular season match, the Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference contest to Otterbein University, 6-3 on the Otterbein Tennis Courts.

BW (15-5, 3-4 OAC) secured No. 1 doubles with the team of senior three-time All-OAC and two-time Academic All-OAC Dominic Polifrone (Hudson) and senior two-time Academic All-OAC and All-OAC Matt Harris (Akron/Revere), as they won 8-7.

In singles action, Polifrone won No. 1 singles with back-to-back 6-4 scores. Junior Jake Elbin (Findlay) seized No. 3 singles after going three sets. The junior took set one, 7-5 before falling in set two, 6-7. In the tie-breaker he won 10-5. 

The Yellow Jackets will play the University of Mount Union in the OAC Quarterfinals on Tuesday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m.
