ALLIANCE, Ohio – In the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament, The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team fell 5-4, to the University of Mount Union, on the Whitehill Tennis Courts.

BW (15-6, 3-4 OAC) started with an 8-4 victory by the duo of senior two-time Academic All-OAC and All-OAC Matt Harris (Akron/Revere) and senior three-time All-OAC and two-time Academic All-OAC Dominic Polifrone (Hudson) in No. 1 doubles. The team of senior Academic All-OAC Roger Boyer (Medina/Brunswick) and junior Jake Elbin (Findlay) registered an 8-6 victory in No. 2 doubles.

In singles action, Polifrone secured set one 6-4, and dropped set two, 6-2. The senior collected the victory in No. 1 singles with a 6-4 tie-breaker score. Harris followed up with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph in No. 2 singles.
