BW Track and Field Teams Compete at Gregory Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's track and field team competed at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College in attempt to qualify or better their marks for the NCAA Division III National Championships.

The BW men were paced by sophomore Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./St. Anselm's Abbey) as he won both the 100 and 200-meter dashes in times of 10.82 and 21.62 seconds respectively.
In addition, assistant coach Kevin Phipps '11 won the hammer throw as an unattached athlete with a throw of 210' more than 15 feet better than the next competitor.
The 2014 NCAA Division III National Championships are on May 22-24 in Delaware, Ohio on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University.
