BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's outdoor track and field team placed competed at the annual Paul "Sparky" Adams Invitational Meet at The George Finnie Stadium.
The BW men were led by senior All-American sprinter Kevin Johnson (Maple Heights/St. Ignatius) who won the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.77. Ben Beidleman (Washington D.C., St. Anselm's Abbey) won the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.79. Sophomore Mike Miller (Strongsville) won the 5000-meter in a time of 15:21.90.
Johnson and Beidleman were also a members of the winning 4x100-meter relay team in a time of 42.18 along with freshmen Troy Robinson (Akron/Garfield) and Otis Conel(Ashtabula/Lakeside)
Next Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, BW hosts the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships Meet.
