BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Ben Biedelman is competing in his second season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter and returns as an All-Ohio champion in the 200-meter dash.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  Ben received the 2013 Jacket Scholars Award.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ben enters his sophomore season competing in sprints and relays. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 37-12-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Ben competed in his first season of indoor track. During this season, Ben held the second-best records on the team for the 55-meter run which he set at the 2013 Mid-January Meet and the 200-meter run which he set at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship.  He finished these races with marks of 6.42 seconds and 22.97 seconds, respectively.  Ben also ran the 60-meter run for a season-best when he finished with a mark 7.35 seconds at the All-Ohio Division III Track & Field Championships.  He also competed on the team's best 4x400-meter relay team, who finished with their best time at the OAC Split Conference Indoor event with a time of 3:31.43.  Ben's participated on the 4x200-meter relay team which saw their best time at the 2013 Mid-January Meet when they crossed the finish line at a time of 1:32.12.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ben competed in his second season of indoor track and earned his second varsity letter. During the season, Ben finshed third in the 55-meter run with a time of 6.46 seconds at the 2014 Mid-January Meet and ran a personal-best time of 7.26 during the 60-meter dash at the Bob Shannon Invitational. He also competed on the team's best 4x200-meter relay team, who finished with their best time at the OAC Indoor Championships with a time of 1:30.18.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ben enters his sophomore season competing in sprints and relays. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 32-4 record. Look for Ben to defend his All-Ohio title in the 200-meter dash.

As a freshman in 2012-13, Ben competed in his first season of outdoor track. Ben was the All-Ohio champion and had a team-best in the 200-meter dash at the 2013 Division III All-Ohio Outdoor Championship with a time of 21.99 seconds.  He also ran the team's best time in the 400-meter dash at the University of Toledo Invitational in a time of 49.69 seconds. He ran his personal-best and team's second-best time at the 7th Annual Gator Invitational in a time of 10.88 seconds.  Ben was also on three of BW's top relay teams of the season.  The 4x100-meter relay team finished with a season-best time of 42.38 seconds at the Charlotte 49er Classic.  The only BW 4x200-meter relay team crossed the end line in a time of 1:32.87 at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational.  Ben's 4x400-meter relay team finished their best race of the season at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013 with a mark of 3:20.47.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ben will compete in his second season of outdoor track and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HIGH SCHOOL/ HOMETOWN INFORMATION:  Ben grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and attended St. Anselm's Abbey. He competed in four years of track and earned four varsity letters.

Ben was named the Potomac Valley Athletic Conference Most Valuable Performer in 2011.
