BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Sammy Ibrahim will compete in his second season of football and track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter in track and a Certificate of Participation for his efforts in football.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Sammy enters his sophomore season looking to earn playing time on the varsity squad at the safety position. The Yellow Jackets have compiled a record of 7-3 in his first season on the team.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of football and competed for playing time at the safety position. He earned a Certificate of Participation for his efforts.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy will play in his second of football and will look to earn his first varsity letter.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Sammy enters his sophomore season competing in sprints and the long jump. He has helped the Yellow Jacets compile a 37-12-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He recorded BW's longest jump of the season with a distance of 19'4" when he placed 16th at the 2013 Mid-February Meet. Sammy ran in the 55-meter dash and had a season-best time of 7.18 seconds at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy will compete in his second of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Sammy enters his sophomore season competing in sprints and the long jump. He has helped BW compile a record of 32-4 in his first season.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He held the team's farthest distance in the long jump during the season with his mark of 21'3.5" at the University of Toledo Invitational where he finished in fourth place. Sammy competed in the 100-meter dash and recorded a season-best time of 11.94 seconds at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013. He also ran the 200-meter dash and finished with season-best time at the 2013 Sparky Adams Invitational with a mark of 25.35 seconds.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy will compete in his second season of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Sammy grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated from North Olmsted High School. He earned two varsity letters in football and three varsity letters in track.

As a junior, Sam was a First-Team All-Conference selection and a district and regional qualifier in the 4x100-meter relay. He was also a Second-Team All-Conference and district qualifier in the 4x200-meter relay. As a senior, Sam was first-team All-Conference in the 4x100-meter relay, selected First-Team All-Conference, and a district and regional qualifier in the 4x200-meter relay. He was also selected First-Team All-Conference and a district qualifier for the long jump his senior year. Sammy set a high school record in the sprint medley with a time of 1:36:04.

Academically, Sammy was an Honor Roll student for four years, earned an Honors Diploma, and was named Physics Student of the Year in 2011.
